Members Ssnake
That's what I'm trying to find out. There's more to SB Pro than just license sales. We also offer software maintenance and other services, but we can do so only if we know that there is a customer.
Gibsonm
Well presumably "Damian 90" can work that out from the "splash" screen.Ours say "This program is licensed to blah blah" in the bottom left corner and "Steel Beasts Professional Version X.XX ANZAC" in the top right. So his should say "Poland" in at least one of those places.

I guess Ssnake should maybe consider a clause along the lines of: Unauthorized forwarding of the PRO version is a copyright violation, blah blah blah, being set upon by quasi-relgious zealots calling themselves "The Holy Millitant Order of the_List" THMOTL....Hmm Okay I made that last bit up  **ALL Hail the_List!!**
Companion
Well, IF RoK could be seduced into using SB for training, T-80U might suddenly become crewable toy for all of us to enjoy. But this big if won't gonna happen b/c1. Korean DoD has a unique collection of morons who should be hanged for incompetence and treachery2. DoD shows unique obsession with placing "domestic product" label on anything it can do so, which is part of reason why the much-hyped XK-2 tank is as garbad as it is.
Damian90
Sorry for late response. Polish Army recived SB Pro probably from German Army with all these training aids for Leopard 2A4 tanks.Software is used in Leopard Training Center placed in Poznan.I seen it in one of articles about Leopard Training Center in one of Polish Military magazines. However I do not know what version of software is used, neither I do not know on what agreement it was sent to our army. Some things are just beyond what civilian can know, and I do not have contacts in 10th Armored Cavalry Brigade.

A plausible theory, but impossible as we didn't sell SB Pro to the Bundeswehr, so they cannot have passed it on.
Damian90
Hmmm, it is strange then. You know what I will check it again in that article.Yup, there is a photo from Leopard Training Center in Poznań, showing soldiers using SB PRO as caption under photo says. The article is in Nowa Technika Wojskowa magazine, number 1/2010, and article title is Ośrodek Szkolenia Leopard - Rozwój Mimo Kryzysu written by Eugeniusz Żygulski. There is a lot of training equipment from Bundeswhere. AAT's and ASPT's, and that SB PRO software.
SeanPatrick
Here is a link to the magazine's website translated to English. Unfortunately, the website does not seem to feature the photo in question.P.S....our army has now almost complete educational facilities provided for individuals consuming Leopards.I love Google translate. Hahaha!
