Moderators Volcano Posted December 11, 2012 Moderators Share Posted December 11, 2012 Let's hope it doesn't crash and burn like Cliffs of Dover.I am still waiting on them to fix the problems in that one. :cul:
PincerDK
I am still waiting on them to fix the problems in that one. :cul: Exactly. Il2: CoD seems to fall for the idea that nice graphics=profit! That only happens if the game is actually playable!!! I could have been satisfied with Il2:1946's graphics and just the new theater, flying around the British Isles could have been fun. Other than that, it seems the new game is going to be run on the RoF engine which should be good news as I haven't heard anything negative about RoF. So good news so far.
AKM
If it's done on the Rise of Flight engine I hope that the RoF team will insist their (IL-2's) publishing house maintain a higher quality standard than they did with Cliffs of Dover.
Richie61
After CoD and all it's issues, I will buy this one when this happens.....

Wicked
I will keep an eye on this game. I was very disappointed in Cliffs of Dover though.

hoggydog
I've been playing War Thunder for the last couple of days and its pretty good for a WoT style game. Great selection of planes maybe a little to arcadey for true flight simmers but I enjoy it.
