Tibbs
I just had a vision of repair points visualized as heaps of olive green tape rolls, and crew repairs of all the components in your vehicle by applying the tape to whatever needs fixing.:biggrin:Excellent! In the next update the loader will rapair all and any damage to your tank with tape! "A T-80 just disabled your main gun?... LOADER! TAPE! GUN!"
Hedgehog
Thats some pretty strong gaffer tape. :biggrin:If Only....(Why don't Repair M113s carry Spare Tubes? You know a little trailer like the miclics tow, just filled with spare barrels?)
Tibbs
I can't say for the M1A1, but I've replaced the barrel on an M1 before. It's actually a pretty easy repair.
3Star
In fairness, if the problem's in the engine compartment, the solution is not 100mph tape. It's JB-Weld.NTM

Tibbs
...yeah. Much easier to replace than it is to come by!:biggrin:Brother, can ya spare a tube?
GH_Lieste
Not so hard... there's another 17 tubes in your company, and fifty odd in the battalion... someone isn't going to be watching too closely... I estimate, it to be roughly twice as hard as replacing a tube when no-one is looking. The only tricky bit is explaining how come your tank is now called "Laze and Blaze" and not the co's

Hedgehog
Y'know you could just call it string, like everyone else
Members Ssnake
No, it's "string" only if composed from intertwined fibers. Haven't you ever watched Mouse Hunt?
ChuikovChambered
I have. It's a super funny movie about two men who inherit a fortune in a historic house, and what they think is a string business, and get to work renovating both. But a cute and clever mouse who's made his home there makes their task just about impossible, and foils their every attempt to kill him. One memorable scene is the swarm of mouse traps in the kitchen, which the mouse foils by throwing a cherry onto 1 trap, setting off all the others and covering the men with mousetraps.:eek2: Another time, one of the men plans to gas the mouse with the gas heating system. But while he's in the chimney, the mouse turns the gas in the chimney to full and lights it, sending the man flying through the air and into a frozen pond. In the end, the two men discover that the string business is really a cheese business, and go into partnership with the mouse
