dejawolf
BADASS Model & Texture. I just hope that the crew can fix the Hellfire effective range. yeah, roguesnake spent months toiling and laboring away on that thing, to make sure everything was absolutely perfect. also, hellfire range has been fixed, and firing trajectory has been improved hellfires should come in at a more realistic arc now, instead of moving straight forward and then dropping like a rock.

Moderators Volcano Posted June 9, 2013 Moderators Share Posted June 9, 2013 oh....oh...my god.STUFF GONNA DIE! Yep, death from 8km. Chances are, Ivan will not even know why his stuff is blowing up. Just don't put to many Apaches in a SCE or there won't be anything left to kill.

Gibsonm
is the Javelin gonna be fixed too?Well not sure what you mean by "fixed" (we killed a fair few vehicles with them during LNoT on the weekend), however the targeting might be more deliberate given the screenshots posted to the gallery a few days ago.

Gibsonm
hmmm maybe im doing something wrong.evrytime i fire it,i goes off to the right and not at the target im trying to lock onto.Well not sure but what tends to happen for me is if it has "fire at will" by the time I get to the sight picture it has already engaged a different target and I can only really take control after the reload sequence has completed.

RogueSnake79
Well, I wish I could take all the credit, but its no different than anything else we do. It takes a lot of people to make this stuff work, and look good doing it. Dejawolf certainly helped me model it, Volcano certainly created an awesome armor model for it(it dies hard). And one of the cool things that Nils didn't mention was that Retro was able to link the weapons and sensors to the pilots heads. Just like the real thing. The hard points on the wings even pitch forward, and backwards like the real deal depending on the angle of attack, when you give it an engage command. Its the last in service AH-64A model. Block II or III, every time I read about it I get more confused. Markings are 1-211th Utah national guard, "Buccaneers"

RogueSnake79
Well, you shouldn't quote images. Gets messy in here when you do that. Look at the wiki page on the apache:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boeing_AH-64_ApacheLatest variant is the AH-64E guardian. "A" model Apaches don't die, they are reborn as D's, and now E's.
