Use of Troop Morter Support

Can anyone help me properly use the infantry mortars 60-81mm accurately, especially finding the range from the site position F2?

You use them via the artillery menue.

You when you klick on their position sign on the map, you should see an area turning slightly pink...that's the area they can hit from the current position.

...now I se what you mean with "F2 view". That one is useless...don't use it ;-)

For azimuth (direction) you can use the compass icon in the lower right of the screen.

For elevation, you can "bracket" the target: shoot one round high and one low. If they fall on either side of the target, then the target is between those two elevations. However, it is fairly difficult to judge elevation without any kind of indicator, especially when looking at a clear blue sky. But it's not impossible.

If you are careful and deliberate with your mouse/joystick movements, you can drop a round right on someone's head.
