dpabrams
You need to put the decal DDS files in the mods folder. When all else fails re read the instructions.
Gibsonm
When all else fails re read the instructions. Who'd have thought?

The decals go in our non-documents folder inside the esim directory correct? There is a folder discrepancy in the instructions as well.... one is marked "normals." I don't mean to nit-pick... I'm not like that, just trying to figure out where I goofed. Edited October 16, 2013 by cobrabase
dpabrams
Guys, you're close and I realize it may seem confusing and a litttle nerve racking installing mods. No one want to screw up the game and have to do a reinstall.Remember that in every folder that you place the m60A3.dds file, you must also place the m60markings.dds file I have included. The same does for the IPM1.dds and IPM1abrams_decals.dds file. The IPM1abrams_decals.dds and m60A3markings.dds files are nothing more than "blank" decals that reside in the TIS folder of the actual sim. I copied them and have included them in each pack for simplicity. These blank decals are transparent and allow the decals I place on the skin to be shown.Hope this helps.
dpabrams
Done it. Same issue. There is a folder discrepancy in the instructions as well.... one is marked "normals."If you mean I left a m60A3 markings reference in the IPM1 instructions, you are correct. This has been fixed. As for folders marked normal. It is the "normals" folder in the C:\Program Files (x86)\eSim Games\SB Pro PE\textures\woodland\normals to which the contents of the "normal" folder go into. I left out the "s" when naming the normal folder.

dpabrams
Again another of my favorites. The welded turret 1A3 in CARC. Doing a little detail work and getting the camo just right. I love the updated AS1, which is the stand in model here.

dpabrams
I have added the specular and normal maps. I have essentially finished the 3-color and even a dunkel gelb version of the 1A3. But I got to tell you I am having fits with the file routing on this one. I have had to go into the texture file itself and not the mods folder to even view the new skins in the sim.
