Well those of us who work in the defence force (not lurk around in Naval establishments) tend to be busy on weekends too. ;)

This being posted on a Saturday from such an location.

The dead horse of best day/time has been ridden into the ground, flogged, cut to feed people retreating from Moscow and Thursday nights our time is agreed as the "least worst" time to cover the membership from five time zones. :)

No, paid for 24/7 capability, expect to be called on to provide 24/7 capability.

Well, I get paid for 42-hours a week...only downside is that there is much flexibility demanded on where these 42 hours are placed.

F.e. if the Australian gov. makes the "right" decision on the Colins-class replacement...things will get more like 60-hours a week here ;-)
