Vacquero
Right now I have an old Dell P991, that everything I can find says is a 19" flat crt. Alas the old beast is trying to die on me, and I'm thinking about buying an LCD monitor. I'm thinking I want to get a 20" or 21", but I don't know about the wide screen aspect. I seem to remember hearing that wide screens tend to look like stomped dog feces on regular resolutions, as in they stretch stuff out to make it fit. On top of all that, does SB work with a wide screen? Thanks in advance.
squiduk
YepSteelbeasts pro works fine with wide screen monitors. Im running it on my 22 inch at 1680 x 1050, theres other choices as well so you should have any probs.

Vacquero
Thanks for the heads up, I found a 21" Samsung for about that. I like their TV's, are their monitors worth a crap? LG was another one I was looking at.

Vacquero
http://3btech.net/bllgl2pr22wi.htmlI think this is the one I'm going to get. I've seen LG TV's in various stores, and they always seem like they have a great picture. Plus it's not glossy coated.

Ricochet67
No problems running SB Pro on a Samsung 24" LCD at 1920x1200. The only downside is I can never find enough time for more than an occasional game. The great thing about the Samsung is the dead pixel policy. If even one dead pixel appears during the 3 year warranty, Samsung will ship you a new LCD. Edited June 25, 2008 by Ricochet67
tarball
I've had good experiences with Samsung and very hit-and-miss experiences with ViewSonic.
