Map-editing and framerates

Aside from the sheer number or density of buildings, what are other factors that produce maps with decreased framerates?

Do certain objects in the editor put more load on the CPU or RAM?

Does "stacking" buildings (several buildings arranged together to produce a singular, bigger, and unique building/shape) take more processing power than having the same number of buildings standing separately?

Does having bridges instead of just flat roads also require more processing power?

I ask these question in regards to map-editing only (not mission-editing, where units are involved).

Thanks in advance!

IIRC, if they "clip" into each other, it's not good but no problem if they are just close to each other without touching or overlapping.
