Can't even get the codemeter software to install in Vista 64

Had my SB Pro PE running fine on my old XP system which crashed.

Built a new system running Vista 64 ultimate on a Core2 Quad Q6700 intel processor.

Everything else runs fine, I have plugged in the codemeter stick and Windows recognises it as a drive.

Problem is that installing the version 3.30a codemeter runtime sftware for 64 bit won't install. The install stops with a message: " "Internal error 2318. C:\Program Files (x86)\WibuShellExt.dll"

When I click OK, the installation is "ended prematurely because of an error"

No codemeter software installs, and so I can't run SB Pro PE

I have emailed CodeMeter, but no reply.

Has anyone seen and solved this problem?

Uninstalled CodeMeter, cleaned up the residual folder on the HD. Still can't install 3.30a Codemeter runtime becasue of the above error.

Uninstalled SB, Codemeter and cleaned out the residual folders.

Installed the CD version 2.251

Codemeter installs just fine, and can play SB in Windows XP compatibility mode

Applied update 2.304. Installs fine, can get to the menu/options screen, but when I load a mission, the loading aborts after the "loading models" stage

Applied 2.328. Installs fine, but same as 2.304

Installed 2.370 bete. Installs fine, but the codemeter runtime won't install because it's the 32 bit version, so can't run SB.

The 64 bit runtime won't istall.

Very frustrating
