MDF
How long does it take for a typical SP howitzer to displace after executing a fire mission? Most interested in M109A3 for the moment, but interested in 2S1 and 2S3 as well.
Gibsonm
RL or SB Pro PE?RL something new like PzH 2000 is about 10-20sec after they shoot and scoot.http://www.militaryfactory.com/armor/detail.asp?armor_id=335Note: "The PzH 2000 can then be on the move towards a new firing location before the launched rounds have even reached their target"RL M109 is longer as they need to repack some items but I'd suggest under 2 minutes.2S1, 2S3, 2S5 probably similar time frame to M109.

I imagine that the Pz2000 (and M109A6) can probably displace very quickly because they don't need to retrieve and stow aiming circles, etc. like the old "analog" systems.
Gibsonm
Ah well perhaps, but you did ask initially about the M109A3. Its amazing what adding a number after the "A" will do to performance.
