Swordsmandk
Is there an active VU list to be found anywhere? Looking to update my game experience a bit and would like something to choose from. I am gmt +1. So European is best but every other week I work night shift so I can do some odd hours gaming.
DarkLabor
Well, there is that list, but it's far from being up to date : http://www.steelbeasts.com/virtual_units

Gibsonm
Um why not Panzer Battalion 911 (I'm not anti UK Armour by the way)?
Swordsmandk
Think 911 is german only. And I am a bit rusty on german. ?
Gibsonm
Well they speak excellent english when I talk to them - but not sure what the "lingua franca" is for meetings.
Eisenschwein
Yes we do.Swordsman are you joining Aben Hede this Year ?If so, we can meet there and talk about it (with a Can of Beer, or two).
Marko
Or you could try SVU a VU dedicated to freeing the oppressed workers of the world.Seriously, SVU is a spin off from UKA we meet on Mondays 20 00 BST.We specialise in soviet tactics and equipment. The 911 guys may have better equipment Better training better organisation. But in SVU you get a big glass of virtual vodka before you go in to battle. Tjay
Is there an active VU list to be found anywhere? Looking to update my game experience a bit and would like something to choose from. I am gmt +1. So European is best but every other week I work night shift so I can do some odd hours gaming.U K Armour currently operates at GMT +1 (British Summertime) at 20:00 on Sundays and Wednesdays. Roughly the same bunch of people also pitch up at 20:00 on Monday evenings as Soviet V U to practice using Soviet equipment and doctrine. If you are interested either PM me or drop into our channel on the SB Teamspeak server at any of those times. Despite the V U title we are a very international outfit, with members across Europe, the US and even Australia. We welcome everybody from experts to raw newbies. Hope to see you there.
MDF
If you still haven't had enough Steel Beasts after tanking with the various Europe-based VUs, feel free to try the new VU organizing at the United Operations gaming group. See my posts here and here.So far, we've been running missions at a reasonably Europe-friendly time of 2200 GMT. I may try to move it an hour or two earlier, but there is currently a time conflict with the Falcon4/DCS missions at United Ops.
