The tank battle you mention might be reproduced in Red Thrust.Nope, the tank battle in "Red Thrust" is a different one than that in "Tank War Central Front".Anyone have some recommendations on books that deal with the 100 hours of ground combat during "Desert Storm"? Until reading this book I had no idea how unreliable the M1 is. Most of the time the company is at 80% do to failures. I've heard good things about Pete Callahan's trilogy Armored Corps... but haven't read any of them.A former business associate of mine who is a former M1A2 Plt Ldr and West Point grad said the classic text is Armored Warfare by James Frederick Charles Fuller.
