Tango29
I'll try to make it, but that is a long holiday weekend here and I'm committed to a few activities. If possible I'll drop in and see if any positions are open. If so, great. If not, no worries.

Falli
Falli,Any mission files / Orders yet for Tacbat, Duke, or I?Or are we making it up on the night? It´s a special gag to plan/organize those missions spontaneously :clin:Therefore the mission files will be spread just in time.I also won´t get those files in advance as I lead 2 missions for the Bundeswehr.

Gibsonm
Awesome! Orders for mission 1 follows:"Hey-diddle-diddle, right up the middle." And based on that: WNGO: Probable task, Mission 2 - Pick up the pieces from Mission 1. Try to keep something intact for Mission 3.
Tankleader
Hello All, Looking to get back into playing, are we using Hamachi to connect now, or is that for the host only? The reason I ask is that it is mentioned on the first post.TanksAndy
Gibsonm
Andy,The last I heard they were going to run this using 3.011 (since not everyone has the 3.019 public beta).3.011 requires that you either:1. Have your port forwarding sorted out, or2. Use Hamachi to bypass this process. There is a cost to this convenience though in terms of a certain reduction in performance. If you have port forwarding setup then no you don't require Hamachi. If you haven't (or don't know what I'm talking about) then you need to use Hamachi on the night or invest a small amount of time setting the forwarding up.To do so, I suggest you read this thread:http://www.steelbeasts.com/sbforums/showthread.php?t=7739or if that's a bit daunting drop me a PM and we can set you up.

JohnO
Do we have access to the "brand-new and high-detailed Fulda - Bad Hersfeld map"?
Falli
I assume that a new version of the map will be available at the end of the year. After including the complete Huenfeld map of Eisenschwein the actual version is in quality assurance process. And I wanted to update the complete original sector between Fulda, Neuhof and Schluechtern before release.

Gibsonm
Falli,Access to the terrain file and a readable size version of that SB map are restricted to PzBtl 911 members, or at least that is what I'm guessing when I see what looks like a login screen in German when I click on either.

Falli
Thx Duke.EIS is an indication for the "old" HUENFELD sector, made by EISenschwein :clin:Btw: Why couldn´t I include files and images here? hmpf
Gibsonm
Well attachments need to be of certain file type and under certain sizes.Graphics of a certain dimension, scenario files need to be zipped (.sce files are not on the list of approved file types), etc.The other option with graphics at least, is to post the image to a image sharing site and then embed the link in the post.
