That was the most immature, tax-wasting, utterly pointless, embarrassingly juvenile and most reckless abuse of army equipment and ammunition stocks that I have ever witnessed.

Can we do it again? Please!!!

On the heels of

the news about Detroit’s declaring bankruptcy.…

Detroit Residents

Stunned!

Police in Detroit

announced the discovery of an arms cache of 200 semi-automatic rifles with

25,000 rounds of ammunition, 200 pounds of heroin, 5 million in forged US

banknotes and 25 trafficked prostitutes — all in a semi-detached house behind

the Public Library on Woodward Ave.

Local residents

were stunned.!!!

A community spokesman said:

“We’re all shocked; we never knew we had a library.”

holy cow, they still use a pull cord to fire the howitzer?thought it be push button by now.cool vid.

Other then the button-push...the mechnical trigger allways works. Exept when the primer is a dud (in which case a button won't work too).

Or you have a moron that pulls the cord to fast :-P

No, the lanyard is the manual trigger.

If that doesn't work then you're off into the land of mis-fire drills (swapping primers, unloading, etc.)

All so much better if the lanyard works.

Probably not healthy for the AK, but an interesting video.

Well if you think about it, the gun is only working against a thicker medium. The space behind the bullet is still filled with gun gas.

The Russians developed an AK based underwater Assault Rifle, well more like a gas powered automatic spear gun. Was pants outside the water as the rifling was designed for the longer "Spear" type bullet, which had a special notch on the end to use the vortex of the bullet traveling throught the water to stabilise the bullet's travel.

And the gas piston was calibrated for underwater operation, and the much longer underwater cartridge.

Think it was called the AKS.

EDIT:

It is the APS
