Iarmor
"The Battle of Sinai", aka "5 Days in Sinai", is an Italian-made war movie filmed in Israel in 1968 about fictional events taking place during the Six Day war. The movie itself is pretty lousy, but between 25:10 and 39:45 there is some interesting footage of M48A2C tanks driving and shooting around in Sinai. Centurions, T-55s, halftracks and some IAF aircraft can also be seen. A later scene (1:13:40) shows the Walid, which is an Egyptian-made version of the BTR-40. As the two Israeli M48-equipped armored brigades in Sinai were being supplied with 105 mm gunned M48A3s at the time, I wonder whether A3s were intentionally left out of the movie for OPSEC reasons. The 105 mm gunned M48A3 was eventually officially exposed in May 1970: Edited August 13, 2016 by Iarmor

Members Ssnake
The terrain glitches may be related to (very) long visibility distances in the weather control dialog. Which are also bad for overall performance. So it may be advisable to adjust the scenario. With respect to the (time based) license issues that you mentioned, read more in this thread. The matter seems to have been resolved, if CodeMeter runtime 6.30b gets installed, which can be found here.

TSe419E
Sorry. My determination is from personal experience. I once had a loader that was about twice as fast as him. And I'm pretty sure that in my prime I would have been faster than the guy in the video, too. Edited August 25, 2016 by TSe419E
Grenny
It get harder for the humand loader with the 120mm rounds (compared to 105)...bigger calibers like 130 or even 140mm will be impossible for human loaders
Members Ssnake
Well, 140mm was in the 1980s determined by the Bundeswehr as the maximum caliber that a human loader could still manage as a single cartridge ... with "still acceptable" loading times. There's always the option to separate projectile from propellant to cut down weight. Or to have power-assisted loading. So, it's probably not the simplistic question: "Autoloader - yay or nay?" but rather: "Would you like a human loader, requiring a larger internal volume with the associated resuction in overall protection level and increase in vehicle mass plus power tools to help him handle the ammunition ... or an autoloader that is equally fast (or better) with larger calibers, but no additional capability in near-field security and surveillance, and no support in your maintenance tasks, which will require a reorganization of how we're doing things?"
