Because you (and we use the same selection process). I'm led to believe that women wanting to enlist need to fit through three "gates". If you fit through the narrow, shapely gate, its off to the RAAF / RAF. If you can't fit through that but can fit through the next, slightly wider gate then its the RAN / RN.
