Apocalypse 31
Good mission. I had a blast running CO for this one.An outstanding right flank by Rotar, Colebrook, Renders and the Asid Recon force saved us a lot of pain going head to head with that enemy armor.
Tjay
Agreed! Following that, we played Gordonian Aggression - designed by Rhyfel and commanded by Cougar. This was THE most professional and immersive mission I have ever played in SB. I completely forgot to take screenshots, but if anyone else did, please post them. AAR can be found here: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/37947215/Gordonian%20Aggression%20Part%20I_101814GAMES_12340.rar Rhyfel, is it OK to post the .sce for public consumption as well?

Tjay
Several things made this mission particularly enjoyable for me. 1. Innovative and unusual mission design far removed from the run-of-the-mill 'Advance and take objective, killing all enemy encountered while doing so'. 2. Mission NOT commanded by mission designer, so C.O had no prior knowledge of eny dispositions. 3. Excellent Batallion briefing (frago) followed by equally excellent Company Commander's briefing in which he explained firstly his overall concept followed by more detailed platoon briefings. 4. Excellent supervision - but not micromanagement - of forces during the battle. 5. Very good comms discipline throughout using map callsigns and proper RT procedure. 6. High level of competence displayed by platoon and individual tank commanders, although this is pretty much a given on DoW operations these days.
Asid
T.A.N.K.S. Multiplayer every Saturday. What can you expect? • We play a wide variety of missions with people from many time zones. We have beginners to experienced. • We use version 3.011 if any player does not have v3.019 • We multi crew as well as single. The choice is yours. • Predominantly CO-OP against AI but the assembled players will choose • Mission Duration: 1 hour – 2 hour • Vehicles used? Many different types. We do not stick to a specific tank. We have everything from fullers to bridge layers.
