Did it end with you and Don staggering around with traffic cones for hats? :)

End with? We started off like that.

I'm no beer connoisseur, nor do I drink often, but when I do I always look forward to a nice, cool bottle of Stella Artois.

Personally I don't like lager beers much, too fizzy, having said that they do have their place on a hot day with a BBQ, or a curry they can be quite refreshing.

I'll have to keep my eye open for some, not sure if I can get it here in the UK,

the Black & Tan and the Porter look interesting.

I went for a lunchtime pint at my local today as I had a days holiday

http://www.thetankertonarms.co.uk/index.html

I had a lovely pint of Black Prince mild from Wantsum brewery , always a nice pint

http://www.wantsumbrewery.co.uk/our%20beers.htm#seasonal:32beers

Off to Cambridge tomorrow to sample the wares from eight pubs,

one of which is owned by this brewery

http://www.wantsumbrewery.co.uk/our%20beers.htm#seasonal:32beers

looking forward to a pint of Nero

I've just noticed I have put the wrong link for the Cambridge brewery, and for some reason I'm not able to edit my posts,

so here's the correct link for Milton brewery.

http://www.miltonbrewery.co.uk/

and now the edit button is back! it's going to be one of those days

I don't remember exactly which one of theirs I tried, but it had a bit of a "sweetish" taste to it. Very different from what I was expecting, in a good way of course. :)

Anyone try Grimbergen?

Why yes, I have some Grimbergen in the fridge just now, but much prefer Kasteel Donker or Rocheforte, which are also in the fridge :)

Wifey loves Guinness or Chimay Bleu.

As an occasional beer, when in season, Tactical Nuclear Penguin is quite nice in moderation.

The wife and I will sit down to enjoy a Kwak together when watching a film in the cinema

I haven't yet, but I do like Belgian beers so will keep an eye out for it, thanks :)

Come on over Crusty, I have some just right for drinking

I love IPAs (India Pale Ale). I've been on about a year's jag on them. There's a great beer shop in Sydney that carries a great range of local and imported beers: http://www.barnys.com.au/ and I go there and buy a selection from time to time.

My favourites are Young Henrys Hop Ale and Little Creatures IPA (both Aussie) and a range of American IPAs including Alesmith IPA, Stone IPA and Founder's All-Day.

Love em.

Interesting to see the selection of UK Ales from that shop, some of my favourites there such as Badger Poachers Choice 5.7%, Fuller's London Porter 5.4%,Marstons Oyster Stout 4.5%, Oakham Ales Citra 4.6% and Thornbridge Jaipur IPA 5.9%

I have to admit I've not tried many Australian beers, I'll have to try and rectify that this year
