Bahger
I want to thank him for his truly superb set of doctrinal training missions:http://www.steelbeasts.com/Downloads/p13_sectionid/24/p13_fileid/1858The last forum post I found from Gary was from 2006 but I hope he is still around, in either his original incarnation or a new one. It is relatively easy to make "war" missions in SB but it requires a lot more knowledge to replicate real-life armour maneuver doctrine as he does in these seven textbook scenarios. I am coming back to SB after an eight year break and these missions have been a godsend in getting me back up to speed in the M1A1. So, wherever you are, thank you, Gary. RogueSnake79
Yes..He's one of the lurking types. Hanging out in alleyways, shaded areas, that kind of thing.

Invader ZIM
Also a fan of the series he made as well. Very good training to get you up to speed and understanding some of the basic concepts.
GaryOwen
Thanks for the kind words. I'd step out of the alleyways more often, but I'm afraid my probation officer would find out how I really spend my time.
Examiner2
Hey guys, new SB player here. Really want to try these out, but I'm not sure on how to install the scenarios. There seems to be a mission file and terrain files. Any help would be appreciated.
Tacbat
The SB manual should have a "file structure" section in it.

That's where I put them and they work fine.
Gibsonm
Don't they slot into your Documents/eSim Games/Steel Beasts/My Scenarios folder? That's where I put them and they work fine. Which amongst other things is what those pages of the manual describe. There is also another place where the built in scenarios reside and as well you can create folders within "My Scenarios" to better menage your scenarios (instead of having one huge list). All this is covered in those few pages and may well answer any unasked supplemental questions.

Examiner2
Thanks for the help guys, figured it out and am reading the manual in addition to these scenarios. When I feel that I've learned my way around the sim well enough I'll join some of you during the Friday night battles.
