i am totally ignorant of the value of these units and i can not make efficient tactical decisions. so please don't hesitate to give me something else if i have asked for linchpin units.

Also i have been pretty outlandish and am probably unknown to everyone, so dw ill understand if you prefer to get to know me before i jump in to something like rolling thunder ^^

Be aware though that the Army Reserve Company minus is a heading, not a position.

There are two understrength platoons in it (each of 3 x PMV).

I'll put you in as a "floater" though for Mission 2.

I'm afraid that due to some unforeseen RL issues, the designated CO for this Mission, TAC197 is now unlikely to be able to participate.

As mentioned in the Mission 3 thread, I wonder if the guys who volunteered to do jobs "as required" included being in charge?

As per post 2 in the Mission 2 thread its mostly the initial stage management and then letting the groupings get on with their part of the fight.

Perhaps an incentive is required. ...

We need a CO for this.

The CO comes with some assets that you wont have if the CO's spot isn't filled.

So if no one nominates to be the CO by say 021200KJUN15, I'll just issue a FRAGO saying that the CO was captured/died en route to the battlefield and edit the scenario to remove his call sign and reduce the overall number and arbitrarily allocated the remaining IEDs/VBIEDs.

So instead of a co-ordinated mission with additional resources it will become three disjointed, localised battles.

If you are thinking of volunteering and have concerns/fears - don't worry. Just drop me a line and we'll work through it.

As per Post #2, the CO's job is pretty easy:

Allocate the extra resources.

Trigger the ambush.

Let the three groups conduct their fight.
