Grenny
My bet: It was in Bergen-Hohne.German police car in backround second pic. Also the squishy car har no wheel on the right side.Left side is an exploded airbag, thats where the driver was sitting.
DarkLabor
Great sighting Grenny!Knowing that it was on a right driving road, I have no idea on how they ended up like that...

Grenny
Ok, wrong with the exercise ground. But having an CR2 involved it left Bergen (when on ex) or Paderborn as possibilities.Good that she was able to walk away from the crash!!

BBC newsbeat version: http://www.bbc.co.uk/newsbeat/article/32973341/british-tank-crushes-learner-drivers-car-in-germany It's good she escaped unhurt.
Rotareneg
The article jokes about the tank not being damaged, but I do wonder if the track pads might need to be replaced after such a severe emergency stop that a long strip of rubber was left on the pavement. Hmm, or that might have been from the car being pushed by the tank and grinding it's tires into the pavement, there's debris behind the tank so it would seem it pushed the car a reasonable distance before stopping. Also, WHERE DASH CAM?!?

It's the rather faint grey stripe on the road that's coming from the track's rubber.
Members Retro
Inevitably, in a battle between 62-tonnes of armour and a one-tonne hatchback, there was only going to be one winner. That little thing weights 1t?

Members Ssnake
Most cars are in the 900...1400kg range with the median gradually shifting to 1.2 tons, I'd guess.
