The article jokes about the tank not being damaged, but I do wonder if the track pads might need to be replaced after such a severe emergency stop that a long strip of rubber was left on the pavement.

Hmm, or that might have been from the car being pushed by the tank and grinding it's tires into the pavement, there's debris behind the tank so it would seem it pushed the car a reasonable distance before stopping.

Also, WHERE DASH CAM?!? :D

No. Track pads can sustain several emergency brake maneuvers, no problem. It's the rather faint grey stripe on the road that's coming from the track's rubber.
