But on the other hand, they apparently enjoyed considerable protection from both within the MoD/BWB (now BAAINBw) and leading politicians, so back then it could just as well have ended being hushed up.Ultimately this is a political question - does the current minister of defence GAS about having a leading small arms manufacturer in Germany, capable of fulfilling the qualitative and quantitative needs of the MoD, or does she not?I think that, given her reputation of being just as power-hungry and possibly even more power-hungry than Angela Merkel (yes, she manages to hide that aspect of her personality very well), I think she'll throw H&K under the bus in less than a heartbeat. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
