Hi everyone,

I am in the process of buying a new computer. I wanted to get input on computer specifications that will allow me optimal performance for Pro PE. Any suggestions or input would be greatly appreciated. Also, will it run on windows 10?

thanks in advance!!

Well, it has been said that SB is CPU-limited rather than GPU-limited, so that suggests that a powerful CPU will do you more good than a cutting edge graphics card.

More specifically, a quad-core CPU of higher clock speed will you do more good than a nominally more powerful six or eight core CPU at a lower clock. Whether that translates to performance improvements that can be felt is an open question; I'm somewhat skeptical. Still I would recommend the quad core CPU simply because an i5 series is cheaper than an i7.

Yes dont waste money on 8 core I7

I think 4 Core I5 will doo fine.

Also dont get Graphics card with 8 GB ram , i think 2-4 GB Ram GPU with atleast 256Bit memory bus will be the best.

Make sure the its atleast 256bit.

I have an overclocked i5/2500, 8GB of memory and a two year old AMD R9-270 graphics card. The processor handles the computational task just fine and FPS very rarely drops below 40FPS except in the dense urban environments. However, I'm about to upgrade to a Nvidia 960 with 4GB of RAM to give myself a bit more graphics 'headroom'. I think anything more expensive than that would be overkill. Different matter if you also play games that are very graphically demanding such as the latest generation of FPS shooters of course.

Please let me know how that works out...

Thinking I might be upgrading an old desktop soon.
