Just read through Gib's list.

A 2s6 tunguska is a PC

Yet a ZSU 23-4 is a Tank??

Weird

Yes, very weird. This is an oversight actually and is fixed now for the next version. We want to add more logical classes for vehicles one day (it is on the list of things to do), but in the mean time we try to follow a method where light armor OR anything that is armored and carries troops == "PC" and heavy armor, or a vehicle with a main gun is a "tank". So, in the next version, the ZSU 23-4 and Wiesel should now be considered as a "PC" until we can get a better system.

With more classes one day then we can get more specific (like "ADA" or "MBT" or "recon" etc)...

Any chance the Release Notes might document any such changes?

I'm happy to run this again for any new vehicles (if there are any) but would rather not have to completely redo it to confirm that the baseline hadn't changed. :)

Oh and for completeness here's the test file.

Methodology

- Open the scenario in the Mission Editor and hit "Test".

- Select the unit of interest and plot a march route to either Waypoint "1" or "3"

- The unit will then follow a road through the various test zones.

- Hit F12 to speed things up.

- The "answers" will appear in the scrolling message box.

Once you get to the end either quit to leave the test and then quit to leave the Editor.

If you want to test another, quit the test, then select replay to rerun the test and choose the next unit.

G,

Recommend that you upload this info to the downloads area for future reference, or possibly ask to have this thread moved over to the scenarios thread so it doesn't get lost in the forums.

Happy to do that. :)

Have submitted it to be part of the resources section.

Looks like its there now. :)

Yeah, it should mention somewhere in the release notes in the next update.
